Pirate Family Daze happening in Port Washington this weekend

If you have a child who loves pirates, you may want to take a little trip up to Port Washington this weekend for Pirate Family Daze, running Friday, June 1st through Sunday, June 3rd.

You'll find a lively event alone the shores of Lake Michigan and near the beautiful Port Washington Marina, featuring the S/V Denis Sullivan tall ship, Breakfast with the Pirates (Saturday morning), live music, a parade (Sunday at 1:00 p.m.), pirate tails, magic shows, a children's costume contest, food and drink for sale, and sideshows.

The S/V Denis Sullivan is Discovery World's very own tall ship, a 137 feet long recreation of a 19th century Great Lakes schooner. You can tour the deck for just $3.00, or take a sail for $40-$45 per persona.

The event offers free admission and fun for the whole family.
